What is the best filler for large missing pieces and cracks in a slate Top Pool table? Heard of Durarock?

Broke it a little trying to move it, some gaps, lots of cracks… Someone suggested durarock- I don’t think that’s spelled right and can’t find such a thing anyways. Help, please.

I can help a little I think.

I used to work in the flooring business and I recognize “durarock” as a common misspelling of the real name “Durock.” Durock is a product of the United States Gypsum Company (www.usg.com). I believe that this company makes a number of products under this name. In the flooring business we used their ‘Durock’ cement backer board as a surface to install ceramic tile on in wet areas (like shower walls, etc.).

However, I believe this company makes a number of items under the Durock name including different types of crack fillers and repair systems. If you go to www.usg.com and click on ‘products’, you will see more.
